Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account, joining the early-access list, or using Rena (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Rena is currently in early access: features may change, break, or be discontinued without notice.
What Rena does
Rena helps job seekers identify the people behind job postings, surface genuine shared background, and draft outreach. Rena provides information and drafting assistance only — we do not guarantee responses, interviews, or job offers, and we are not a recruiting agency or employer.
Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. One account per person; accounts are not transferable.
Acceptable use
Rena exists to start genuine professional conversations. You agree not to use the Service to:
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
Information about other people
The Service surfaces professional information about third parties (such as hiring managers) drawn from publicly available and licensed sources. This information is provided for your individual outreach only. You may not republish it, build databases from it, or use it in ways that would be unlawful or harmful to the people it describes. Accuracy is not guaranteed — verify before you rely on it.
Your content and drafts
You own the messages and materials you create with Rena. You grant us a limited license to process your content solely to operate and improve the Service. Review every draft before you send it — you are responsible for what you actually say to other people.
Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Rena and its licensors. These terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or other intellectual property beyond the limited right to use the Service.
Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rena will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost opportunities, profits, or data. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of $50 or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms or to protect the Service and its users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 05–08) will survive.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms as the Service evolves; we will notify you of material changes by email or in-product notice, and continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [State], without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be resolved in the courts located in [County, State].
